Good morning all!
I got here early this morning and got things rolling so Roger finally got his first real shower today! Boy was that a job! It was well worth it and he said he felt better so that is all that matters! Once the bathroom duties were done, Occupational therapy came to work with him. She took him to see the schedule board where all of his therapies are posted and then took him to the big gym. There she taught him the importance of "wheelchair push-ups" and had him do a handful of them. Roger also got to meet his physical therapist who is coming to work with him at 10:30. He will work with her for an hour, have lunch, then have his afternoon therapies. He has a big day planned today. So far he is doing really well. I think it is a difficult day for him though since this will be the first day he has done so many activities. I am really proud to see the progress he is making and will continue to make everyday. It is pretty amazing. I will try to get a picture later during physical therapy and get it posted so you all can see his handsome face :) Much love!
