Day 10

Day 10: Tuesday

Today has been a good day. His pain is finally under control. He has been complaining of abdominal pain which has even been sensitive to touch. Physical therapy came earlier in the day today and worked with him. They wrapped his legs in ace bandages to keep the blood from rushing into his legs and making him light headed and wanting to pass out. This seemed to work well. Roger sat up on the side of the bed for 15 minutes and did most of the work of holding himself up. Unfortunately he still can not feel from the waist down so I can only imagine what it is like sitting up but not feeling what you are sitting on. (Sorry for the side ways picture...)
